Q3-What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

November 23^rd is a low budget British film that starts of showing at The British Film Institute; they are a company that encourages the development of the arts of film, television and the moving image throughout the United Kingdom. This is a small company that is known about all through the UK so our film would be shown to many people, if there is a raising interest to our film we could then consider selling our film rights to be shown in different locations by different film distributors. Because our film is a British film we don’t want it to show in all cinemas just picture houses and on DVD. We would have the DVDs in shops like HMV or any DVD rental place. Clapham Picture House has themed film showings so some weeks it might be horror some weeks it might be American history and other weeks British films; we want our film to be one of the British films shown on the big screen. 

Our production company “Bullet Proof Productions” would seek to employ a good distributor such as “Universal Pictures UK” they have released films like ‘Jaws’ and ‘Jurassic Park’. These are both horror/thriller based and fits perfectly to our film genre.

Our product demonstrates characters like movie “The Ring” we used this film as an example for our scary character (the little girl) also with similarities to the film “Paranormal Activity” as it is filmed by hand as is ours. Our film not the typical British film although we do not want

Research shows that horror films are released all throughout the year and feedback from the films are very positive from the audience so Horror is a common and constantly watched genre the feedback that we would get back a lot of feedback. from an audience because the genre is horror.
